My two classes for the month of June!

As usual, lot of you have been asking me for a long time if I am designing classes! So for my favourite month, I have designed two classes instead! And what would be most cool about it is that it will be held in two different Papermarket Outlets and also the classes which I decided are so different that you would think it is not designed by me. (or it is done by a bi-polar disorder person)

1. The first class will be held at Plaza Sing Papermarket. Imagine using ONLY studio calico papers (my favourite) and an paper album from october afternoon to create this amazingly graphical layout which emphasises on the art of graphical design and mixes a blend of vintage and modern papers to create this stylish yet classical layouts. Sweet and astonishing!

2.   The second project which is held at Papermarket would be a shadow box/album which is combined together! Using tons of embossing Powder (each gets a bottle home) and also using half a bottle of mica flakes. It is a really cool, tim holtz kind of album with tons and tons of metal trinkets and 3D embellishments!

Lets go go!

 I was actually holding on to this album and leaving it half finished for a really really long time! (probably 3 years now.) Really extremely glad that I had it over and done with. I painted it and sand the edges off and did it here and there during the whole time. Heres a look at the insides of the album.

 

Add random stickers and embellishments in to the album. Making it actually really super thick.

These Photos are actually taken like 5 years ago. So you see the extend of the period.

Really love how the ribbons actually look like in the end. Adding every single scrap and stuffs I have on to the binder.

Also, because I didn't have any black ribbons or deep red ones to fit my album, I used glimmer glam and paint over the ribbons. Perfect!

Random a little.

A few things I made but I didn't have time to share... A assignment made for a school's notice board. Never in the mind I had done such a HUGE CANVAS before. They are actually going to frame it up with glass panels and everything. How cool is that!!! I added extra glue to hold everything in place just in case, hope it stays the same after centuries. It would amazing if I see it the same after many decades. (cosmo cricket stickers are soooo nice to work with! heh heh!) I had to make another replica of it to be placed at the primary school as well!

Just to show messy it got: because it was such a huge canvas, I had to work on the floor. Its like a warzone after completing those 2 boards! (Kinda fun!) I had the boards shrink wrapped very safely when it was done!

 A sign I made after teaching a class at papermarket! Sometimes its just so fun to make what other people thinks are scraps and turn them into something nice. Imagine all these are just left over stickers and scrap papers!

Also, a extremely simple card I made for my academic writing professor, he was a pretty good prof so he darn well deserve a card! Haha, But I had this card for many years! Machine stitch is done by my mum. That I cant do... :)

Let's Set Sail!!

Yay! When my second class ended, everyone started asking when is my next one again! After a long dragging hiatus, this time it's in the month of march! I'm super happy it's completed! Yoohoo!!! My previous classes was on layouts so this time round we are gonna alter a box with loads of trinkets and objects inside!

Thank you to the people who was excited to see the preview of the box class and I'm happy to say that its nicely completed! If you are signing up for the class (which its filling up fast) do look at the accordion box inside it! Its SUPER long!

Scrapbook Mojo.

Created a nice accordian album for my 2 friends where one of them had a recent birthday celebration. its been super duper long since my last scrapbook attempt (that is, my christmas cards) and I just can't get the energy and spirit started. So this album pretty much got me happy and going. But still, other things needs to be done.

My first time doing an accordian album really, cause i never had the chance to actually do one for myself.

Took me the whole afternoon to make it actually and i had to rush and be half an hour late for the celebration, but still it was totally worth it! I'm glad she totally liked it and some wanted to call me to make one, but i just don't know i can do this good. this make me think of selling cards. Love making them... hmmm... who will buy from me?

Hidden photo slot and flip up was one of the ways to make it better.

Hoping to make more scrapbook layouts and projects soon. I have loads and loads of stuffs to post online. Till then!

6 months later...

... I finally finished the work, though i bought transparent plastic photo frame for more than 8 months and the idea came up to me for more than a year.

well, procrastination is a really bad thing.

and so, after going out for 2 weeks. (pre-university seminar and Outward Bound) I had the opportuntiy to give him the present last night when 3 of us (sharmaine, gershwin and me) went out for a impromptu movie. (shrek 3)
We Planned to trick him that he wouldn't get his present that day and so I pretended that i forgotten to bring his present. (after 6 monthas of wait, whats one more day of waiting?)

He fell into the trap. (we are very convincing actors you know.) and i gave shar to pass him the present while i take the pictures.

Another MINI album!

Phew, today's a hot day! Back to the point...
Another Album! I actually uploaded this into the scrappers loft forum challenge before uploading here, you can sign up there to look at the forum stuffs. This one is a really simple but meaningful one, i even got my friends to play with the rub-ons! I had wanted to make a really simple mini album for a long time, this one did not require large amount of creativity thinking and it was perfectly easy to make. (no need for directions to make one!)

After a few answers from people who have been there, mostly Eoin and Li-sa, I went to embark on a journey with Zoey and Yi Mei a few weeks back. Well, from my view,
I couldn't really feel what some of the artist is trying to say and some doesn't link with the theme: belief. It was tiring for the three of us to go to 3 places in an afternoon . Nevertheless, I saw things that made this travel worth while and visited places I’ve never been to. It gave me a better understanding of art and exposed me to many art forms.

My Lunch Box.

Finally, its done. I removed everything that was on my lunch box, i tear, rubbed, scrape as good as i could.
Then, i started look at papers, and there you have it, my favourite rhonna farrer papers! they were great.
i added on chatter box tile stickers! (the quotes!)
and i did a page pebble with my name on it! ( i did the same one on my phone!)


i added a tag on my altered box as an accessorie...

i'm lazy... not scrapbooking enough not productive. frankly, i've have not put up my photos into the net, i have tons of them.... the chalet, the camp i had recently.... i am super busy (or plain lazy) sitting in front of the computer is a chore, althought i had many times infront of it.

TSL is back yeah!!! i was in today at 12.01 a.m, as the 21st member in the forum...wow!!!!
