Today.

I'll have to start off with this quote:

"It doesn't matter who you are, where you come from. The ability to triumph begins with you — always." -Oprah

Being in YJC isn't easy, despite all these setbacks due to the results of the posting, I remain who I am. I missed my friends, the people, the environment. I have to continue to move on. That's what life is. Not fair.

With a lousy L1R5- 14, i didn't got in to where i wanted. Instead, posted to you-know-where. Let's just face it. Coping with the studies there isn't easy, but i can do it.

It's time for me to smile and start off a new day. But i still can't manage to do it.

P.S: I am in the YJC swimming team. Don't ask why. Pin It

Another MINI album!

Phew, today's a hot day! Back to the point...
Another Album! I actually uploaded this into the scrappers loft forum challenge before uploading here, you can sign up there to look at the forum stuffs. This one is a really simple but meaningful one, i even got my friends to play with the rub-ons! I had wanted to make a really simple mini album for a long time, this one did not require large amount of creativity thinking and it was perfectly easy to make. (no need for directions to make one!)

Here's my journal:
After a few answers from people who have been there, mostly Eoin and Li-sa, I went to embark on a journey with Zoey and Yi Mei a few weeks back. Well, from my view,
I couldn't really feel what some of the artist is trying to say and some doesn't link with the theme: belief. It was tiring for the three of us to go to 3 places in an afternoon . Nevertheless, I saw things that made this travel worth while and visited places I’ve never been to. It gave me a better understanding of art and exposed me to many art forms.

Tomorrow's Monday, so there's school for me tomorrow. Friday please come quick... Pin It

Finally something.

Its about time that i should blog. My free and easy days are over and out. The march hoildays would end and i would return to a new school, wish me lunch.
And finally, i could show project i did quite some time ago.... a mini neo-print album. Of course, we youngsters love to take neoprints and albums of those aren't hard to buy, but here one that you can't buy.
Here's the journaling (if you can't read my lousy, short handwriting):

I would love taking photos but not being in front of one. But when my cousin brought me to a neo-print machine. I was totally bluffed. Many things was going through my head, would i look good? Was it worth?
For just a 4"X6" adhesive backed photo, it costs 8 bucks! However, to my disbelief, the photos are especially great. And soon after, we would hop on and say' CHEESE!' :)
And here are the rest of the photos! Haha... i guess these photos really make me inspired to scrap!

This one was taken years ago when neo-prints aren't so advanced. But it looked cool!
Will blog soon, I promise!

Clouds Of Emotion.

This video all started with a assembly program we had each week, it was going to be our turn and we had to make a choice of producing an act of the theme, Clouds Of Emotion. It was all rushed up (as i can remember) where 4 seperate groups were to brain storm with 5 different acts according to the 3 theme of clouds. (We would thank Miss teo for the research) This 8 min + video clip that we took and edit for an assembly program 2 years ago in an afternoon was really tiring as i was the director, camera man, editor as well.... the rest had to play another part as a producer and actors. (they all did very well.) I had problems holding the camera steady (the managment lost the stand) and some had given help with it too.

I had to explain to them that shot were taken at the scene each time and could not be taken all at once when they acted out as a non-stop play. Nevertheless, they had done pretty well with this video. And i would say my favourite act was from act 2 when Jia Feng the "teacher" came and scolded the class and the amazing contribution by Miss teo in a little acting part. And also, from act 3, karleen the another "teacher" when she was scolding the students.

A very special thanks to Miss Jessica Lai for helping us put the film to a cd-rom in order for the editing to be done and her helpful tips in making this video a "success" and in time.

I notice where every scene there would be one of them hitting on the desk. (WHY?!?) I love watching the scene that went wrong at the end of the video. (hey, we aren't born actors.) Well, this horrifing experience in extensively editing the videos and filming them would never be thought as an enterainment now where i spent till 3 a.m to finish it up. Consider it done. And never to do another again.
